Mr. Mark A. Mead is a Senior Associate at ECG specializing in strategic planning, technology commercialization and assessing market and business opportunities for products and services in the energy, advanced materials, electronics, industrial and related marketplaces. Mr. Mead has held project, account management and department management positions at Otis Elevator, Ten Eyck Group and Chubb Group.
At ECG, Mark has worked on market and competitive assessment, market forecasting, comparative analysis of client’s competitors, technology commercialization, technology deployment, site selection, strategic planning and business development engagements. His project involvement has been with clients in the energy, utility, electronic, construction and advanced materials industries. Prior to joining ECG, Mr. Mead was at Otis Elevator, a division of United Technologies Corporation, where he was involved with the sales and service of elevator and escalator equipment and the territory rollout strategy for new technology products. At the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, Mr. Mead was the underwriting and sales manager for commercial departments responsible for customer relationship management, marketing, growth, and profit and loss results of multiple commercial insurance products. While at Chubb he created the branch’s prospect system to effectively identify new clients and the key account retention strategy for retaining the best customers.
Mr. Mead has a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Clarkson University and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a certified member of the Professional Ski Instructor Association (PSIA) and an alpine ski instructor at Gore Mountain. Mr. Mead is also an associate member of the International Association of Approved Basketball Official (IAABO) for Boys High School Basketball.
